Two great games were played tonight at Harvey West deciding the Majors American and National League championship teams.

First up was the visiting Athletics versus the Angels, who remained tied at 3 runs a piece deep into extra innings. The A's squeaked out a run in the top of 9th inning and held on for the victory sending them to TOCs with a 4 to 3 win.

Next came the visiting Giants versus the Diamondbacks. Another hard fought pitching duel, both teams were tied after 6 innings with 2 runs. The Diamondbacks walked it off in the bottom of the 6th inning sending them on to the TOCs with the Athletics.

Congratulations to all the teams involved, and thank you Santa Cruz Little League for another exciting end to our local playoffs!

Do you have a glove that is in need of repair?

Contact Thomas Pacheco at All Star Glove Repair for a total face lift for your glove!

Thomas Pacheco - 831-345-5944

Thomas did an amazing job on my Wilson A2000. It was a floppy mess with broken strings and broken in almost too much. When I got it back, it was stiff and new feeling with a nice tacky coat of new glove oil. I can't believe what a good job he did! Thank you Thomas!

Opening day for the Challenger program was a huge success. It was the Angels and Yankees verusus the Angels and the A's. Both teams battled hard and due to some impeccible defense combined with offensive outbursts from both teams, the game ended in an even tie.

Everybody had a blast and we are all looking forward to the next game on April 28th at 1pm! Come out and enjoy Sunday afternoon baseball down at Harvey West Field 1.

Here is a quote from a family involved in Challenger:

I've seen Thomas go from being very hesitant about playing ball the first year to looking forward to playing. He was so happy Sunday morning when he woke up knowing that he had a game that day. Very thankful for the program!
